Digital product creation (DPC) is among the top of retail, footwear and apparel (RFA) leaders’ technology investment agendas. Since 2016, Kalypso has partnered with industry research groups and educational institutions to survey RFA organizations about their DPC journeys.
From past research, we have found that most product leaders in RFA are actively pursuing some form of a digital product creation initiative. Yet, even as they experiment with various digital use cases, the actual maturity, scalability and link to business value varies widely.
In 2020, the coronavirus pandemic - and the subsequent humanitarian and economic crises that have emerged in its wake - have impacted organizations across all industries.
Kalypso, The Interline, and the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Center for Education and Research in Retail are partnering on this year's annual research. The goal is to see how far the promise of DPC is being fulfilled, while assessing the impact of the current crisis.
When the results are anonymously aggregated, analyzed, and presented, an accurate picture of the current industry-wide maturity of DPC will emerge, allowing you to gauge your maturity relative to the industry average, and to the competition.
This survey closes on October 23rd. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to complete.
Your answers will be kept strictly confidential and only be reported in aggregate.
To thank you for your participation, Kalypso will provide you with a final copy of the aggregate survey results. We will also offer a complimentary analysis of your company’s relative maturity, along with practical recommendations.
In the survey, you will be presented with 18 DPC use cases that apply to the ways RFA companies Discover, Create, Make and Sell products. For the ones that are relevant to your organization, we will simply ask you to rank your current and future maturity in these areas on a 1-5 scale.
Additionally, there will be questions pertaining to the pandemic, as well as other various topics of interest for product leaders.
