BEACHWOOD, Ohio and HAMBURG, Germany – Nils Kruse has joined global consulting firm Kalypso as country manager for Germany after a record year of growth in the Germany, Switzerland and Austria region in 2016.
“Over the past several years, we have established a strong foundation in Germany with Kalypso Deutschland GmbH,” said George Young, CEO of Kalypso. “The addition of Nils to our leadership team strengthens our ability to serve a larger, more diverse client base in the DACH region."
The people of Kalypso are practitioners of innovation with real-world experience building high-functioning innovation organizations in the retail, consumer goods, healthcare, high technology, industrial manufacturing and life sciences industries. Nils brings 18 years of experience in product innovation and product lifecycle management (PLM) in various industrial sectors in Europe.

Prior to joining Kalypso, Nils was a senior manager in EY’s Advisory Service Line where he led a team of PLM consultants. He managed strategic engineering, supply chain transformation and digital projects, focusing on processes, organizations and technologies such as modular product architecture design and systems engineering, as well as the design and implementation of enabling IT systems.
Nils began his career as a PLM consultant for Unigraphics Solutions (Siemens PLM) where he gained deep insights in the industrial products and automotive sectors. Later, he joined Volkswagen Motorsport and Airbus CIMPA, where he was responsible for PLM consulting and managed services in the aerospace sector in France, U.K. and Germany.
Nils graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences Lübeck. He resides in Hamburg, where Kalypso Deutschland GmbH is based.
