Prior to joining Kalypso, Nils was a senior manager in EY’s Advisory Service Line where he led a team of PLM consultants. He managed strategic engineering, supply chain transformation and digital projects, focusing on processes, organizations and technologies such as modular product architecture design and systems engineering, as well as the design and implementation of enabling IT systems.
Nils began his career as a PLM consultant for Unigraphics Solutions (Siemens PLM) where he gained deep insights in the industrial products and automotive sectors. Later, he joined Volkswagen Motorsport and Airbus CIMPA, where he was responsible for PLM consulting and managed services in the aerospace sector in France, U.K. and Germany.
Nils graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fachhochschule Lübeck.
Current Projects
Nils leads consulting projects for clients in the DACH region. In his role of country manager, he brings Kalypso's broad portfolio of innovation services to the firm's clients in the region.
Outside of Kalypso
Nils resides in Hamburg, Germany. He is interested in technology, especially computers, motorcycles and cars. He enjoys riding his motor bike, when time and weather permits. He looks forward to the summers, when he spends weekends with his daughter at a campground on the Baltic Sea, fishing and boating.
