David received his B.S in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University and his MBA from Rice University. After a brief stint in oil and gas, he decided to follow his passion for food and entered the restaurant industry.
Over the next decade and a half, David worked in almost every aspect of food and beverage - from management, to sales, to supply chain. Most notably, in 2013, David joined a start-up restaurant chain as Executive Brand Director. In that role he helped catapult the company from 15 units to 53 within 3 years by focusing on supply chain efficiency, increased product development and marketing strategy. David joined Kalypso in 2018 as a Senior Innovation Consultant, focusing on PLM and digital innovations within the consumer goods industry.
David is currently leveraging his education and industry experience to assist his client’s development of new products and innovations through PLM software implementations across the consumer goods industry. He is also helping to recruit and develop the next generation of innovators through his campus recruiting and Kalypso internship programs.
