BEACHWOOD, Ohio – Recognized digital leader Chad Markle has joined innovation consulting firm Kalypso as a partner to lead the growth of its Digital Innovation practice.

Chad brings over 25 years of experience working as an executive and advisor at Fortune 1000 companies to deliver results by combining strategic thinking with the transformative business impact of technology.

Chad has hands-on experience developing smart, connected marketplaces, products, and supply chains, and has led successful efforts in the Internet of Things (IoT), wearables, mobile, cloud, social networks, advanced analytics, e-commerce and virtual reality.
Prior to joining Kalypso, Chad was the president and COO of Synapse Wireless, a leader in the IoT industry specializing in software, hardware and networking solutions to develop, deploy and manage the "things" in IoT. There he oversaw the product management, marketing, sales, engineering, services and operations functions of the company. He also managed business segments including building and lighting controls, energy monitoring, food service automation, connected healthcare, and embedded wireless components and software.
Earlier in his career, Chad served as a director/partner at Bridge Strategy Group, a boutique management consultancy; vice president of mergers and integration at Move.com, a real estate internet company; and vice president of operations and technology at IPIX, an immersive digital content provider. He also held leadership roles at A.T. Kearney and Morgan Stanley & Co.
Chad’s alma maters include The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics, and Columbia University, where he completed advanced coursework in Technical Architecture and Systems Design and Development. Chad and his family reside in the suburbs of Fort Worth, Texas.
