Partner Paul Beck Rejoins Kalypso to Expand CPG Practice

MARCH 8, 2012 – CINCINNATI, OH – Kalypso, the world's premier innovation consulting firm, announced today that Paul Beck has rejoined the firm as a partner to help lead the growth of its Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) practice and team.

The people of Kalypso are leading business professionals who combine a depth of experience in select industries with unparalleled expertise in product and process innovation. Paul brings over 32 years of experience in global consumer products and senior management leadership to Kalypso clients. He will focus on creating new business opportunities and growing the firm’s capabilities in consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Prior to joining Kalypso, Paul was Vice President of Global Pharmaceuticals and Global Capability at Procter and Gamble. During his 31 years at Procter and Gamble, he served in general management and vice president assignments across a wide range of large consumer product businesses. Paul led the Kmart and global Carrefour teams for the company, delivering record share and profit growth in a number of challenging, international assignments.

Paul spent a brief time with Kalypso from 2008 to 2009 as a partner prior to being called to serve as the president of the Arizona Phoenix Mission for his church. In that capacity, he successfully supervised and led a large, diverse organization.

Paul has an MBA and a BS in Marketing from the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He serves on the National Advisory Board for the Eccles School of Business and on the Board of Directors of the Outback Flashlight Company. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Public Affairs for the Cincinnati area of his church. He speaks both Spanish and Samoan.

Paul is based in Cincinnati, Ohio where his family life is supplemented by a passion for outdoor sports including skiing, horseback riding in the Rockies, fly fishing, shooting sports and golf.
