BARCELONA — Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, today announced that senior manager Lucio Pieroni will present at Innovation Excellence and NPD in the Process Industry. Pieroni will speak on “Achieving a Holistic and Integrated Approach to Innovation” on April 24 and will moderate the panel discussion “Out of the Box Thinking and Collaboration: Creating Breakthrough Innovation Through Cross-industry, Complementary, Non-competitive Collaboration” on April 25.
Held in Barcelona, Innovation Excellence and NPD in the Process Industry provides senior executives in the food and beverage, specialty chemicals, life sciences, consumer and household products and cosmetics industries with product creation insight and inspiration. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from presentations and participate in tracks designed specifically for the process manufacturing industry.
During his presentation, Pieroni will discuss how companies can eliminate silos to bolster R&D and align innovation with corporate strategy. Attendees will also learn how to focus corporate approaches to innovation and tailor innovation approaches for specific projects.
For the panel, Pieroni will facilitate a discussion between Dr. Simone Arizzi, Dupont EMEA director of technology and innovation, Thulani Dlamini, Sasol executive manager of technology R&D, and Colin Burnham, Pepsico Iberia R&D market head. Panelists will highlight strategies for dealing with the challenges that arise between collaboration and intellectual innovation and evaluating whether these same approaches can apply to vertical collaboration.
