Healthcare and energy expert brings over 30 years experience to firm
BEACHWOOD, Ohio - Kalypso, the world's premier innovation consulting firm, announced today that Andrew Nygard has joined the firm as a senior manager.
The people of Kalypso are leading business professionals who combine a depth of experience in select industries with unparalleled expertise in product and process innovation. Andrew brings over 30 years of industry and consulting experience to Kalypso's healthcare and energy clients.
“Andrew has extensive experience leading and implementing change, portfolio management, and product innovation across a wide range of service-based industries, particularly in the healthcare and utilities sectors,” said Ken Parekh, Kalypso Partner and head of the Leadership and Learning Practice. “We are pleased to bring his expertise in services organizations to our clients and are looking forward to his contributions.”
Prior to joining Kalypso, Andrew was director of product program management for a major BlueCross and Blue Shield company, and spent 17 years consulting with Deloitte Consulting and NTA Partners. As a senior manager with Deloitte, Andrew led the e-Business Practice for energy services clients and was a key contributor to the Reengineering, Supply Chain Management and Technology practices. As a principal with NTA Partners, Andrew served a diverse range of clients in the healthcare, education, life sciences, media and entertainment and food and beverage industries focusing on strategic change and portfolio management. He began his career as a voice communications intercept supervisor with Military Intelligence.
Andrew is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and will primarily work with clients in the services sector. He is a certified Master Trainer and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, a Bachelors of Arts in Russian Language and Literature from the State University of New York at Albany, and completed the Russian Language program at the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center in Monterey, California.
