BEACHWOOD, OHIO — Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, today announced that Daniel Flanagan has joined the firm as a manager to help clients enable innovation and product development processes with technology solutions.

Daniel brings 27 years of industry and product development experience to Kalypso's clients. He has extensive expertise in engineering design and technology as well as new product introduction processes and enterprise systems.

Prior to joining Kalypso, Daniel spent 20 years with Motorola. He started as a senior mechanical engineer designing cell phones and quickly moved up to the role of engineering manager and PLM business lead. In these roles, Daniel helped drive the use of engineering best practices and PLM tool functionality across Motorola Mobility’s global organizations.
Daniel is based in the Chicago area and will lead projects within Kalypso’s global PTC practice, primarily working with clients to implement innovation and product development process improvements based on PTC PLM technologies. He holds an MBA from DePaul’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
