Kalypso to Present Strategies for Value Capture at Professional Pricing Society

BEACHWOOD, Ohio - Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, today announced that senior consultant Reed Shelger will present “Creating and Capturing Value from New Products: Strategies and Tools that Enable Profit Maximization” on October 26 at 11:00AM at the 23rd Annual Professional Pricing Society Fall Pricing Workshop and Conference.

The conference brings pricing experts together for world-class training, networking, and a four-day learning experience October 23-26. Shelger’s Friday session, part of the Pricing Experts Track, will focus on the challenges facing companies as they work to derive value from the product development lifecycle. Shelger will demonstrate the “Value Six Pack,” a set of Kalypso techniques and tools used to quantify value and approximate the right price for each product and market segment.

Attendees of Shelger’s session will learn to use pricing inputs to define winning product concepts and support go/kill recommendations. Shelger will discuss how companies can expand margins with value pricing and eliminate price leakage with disciplined transaction management.
