Kalypso to Present PLM Strategies for Food Industry at AMI Expo

April 26, 2012

BEACHWOOD, Ohio – As meat products experience more media attention than ever before, meat, poultry and seafood companies must consider their offerings closely. Part of that care comes in the form of product lifecycle management (PLM), the process of managing new and existing products through design, manufacture, service and sale. Chip Perry, director at Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, will present PLM strategies at AMI Expo 2012 on May 2 at 10:00AM.

AMI Expo, the annual Meat, Poultry, Seafood Industry Conference and Exhibition, offers attendees access to 1,200 exhibitors and dozens of educational and general sessions. The Expo, held May 1-3 in Dallas, will offer sessions on consumer trends and product development, food safety, and operations management. Attendees include packers, processors, distributors, retailers, food service operators and import/export brokers.

During the session, “Product Lifecycle Management,” Chip Perry will discuss the unique benefits of PLM for the meat, poultry and seafood industry. Perry will separate buzzwords from strategy and offer real-world examples of how PLM can build a solid foundation for an organization’s engineering communication network. Attendees will learn the benefits of product leadership and longevity, and understand how PLM can help bring products to market quickly and profitably.
