Richard brings over 25 years of consulting and business experience to Kalypso’s clients, serving the oil and gas, oilfield services, chemicals, manufacturing, and engineering and construction industries.
Prior to joining Kalypso, Richard held senior positions with a number of global consultancies. Former roles included director in the Manufacturing and Energy practices of Deloitte Consulting, vice president in the Oil & Gas practice of HCL Axon, and managing director with EnterSys Group, where he also served as the managing partner for several years. Richard began his career as an industrial engineer with The Gillette Company.
Richard has extensive experience assisting global clients to plan and execute change efforts in complex environments by utilizing new organizational structures, revamped business processes and advanced technological enablers. Throughout his consulting career, Richard has specialized in program and project management, program planning, process redesign, change management, business case determination and approaches for attaining value from enterprise applications. He has also authored and implemented several related consulting methodologies and approaches.
Richard leads the operations of Kalypso as managing partner while serving clients in the manufacturing and energy industries. Richard also led the development of Kalypso's outsourced managed services, Pulse, and the firm's industry-leading PLM implementation methodology, Rapid Results.
Richard lives in Kingwood, Texas with his recently retired wife and two kids. In his spare time and to avoid housework, Richard can often be found coaching, refereeing or watching (but certainly not playing) a game of lacrosse anywhere he can.
