Prior to joining Kalypso, Porfirio was a director at Metalsa, bringing over 12 years of professional experience in the automotive industry. He combines experience in general management, growth, digital transformation, product development and strategic planning with full P&L responsibility. He has demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams.
Porfirio holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from UVM and a Masters in Business and Technology Innovation from ITESM.
Porfirio lives in Monterrey with his wife Estrella and their children Porfirio Jr. & Paula. He spends most of his free time with his family, enjoys cooking for them and playing board games with their friends. When possible he enjoys playing good match of racquetball, table tennis or volleyball. His most recent hobby is woodworking as he is building most of the furtinure for his home renovation project.
