BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, and the Stelos Alliance, a non-profit scholarship organization for young leaders, awarded a Kalypso Wolfpack Innovators Scholarship and two Masters of Global Innovation Management (MGIM) scholarships to North Carolina State University students.
Established in 2012, The Kalypso Wolfpack Innovators Scholarship is awarded to NC State undergraduate engineering students. This year’s awardee is Jaycee Lee. Lee is an undergraduate studying chemical engineering.
Matthew T. Nelson and Thibault Pavret de La Rochefordière were awarded the MGIM Scholarship. The MGIM Scholarship rewards Master of Global Innovation Management students who demonstrate excellence in innovation and academics.
Nelson has a bachelor’s degree in General Studies, with a focus in Philosophy and History from Western Michigan University. Nelson joined the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve in 2008 while finishing his studies, eventually going into active duty for nearly three years to aid in the cleanup process of the B.P. oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
La Rochefordière is from Bordeaux France and has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. La Rochefordière says he applied for the MGIM program to acquire the best education in innovation management.
The Kalypso Wolfpack Innovators Scholarship is open to fulltime sophomores and juniors in an undergraduate engineering major. The MGIM scholarship is open to fulltime graduate students enrolled in the MGIM program. Applications will open again in spring 2015. More information can be found at www.stelos.org/scholarships.
