Spike Awards nomination period closes September 3rd
Beachwood, OHIO - Jim Brown, founder and President of Tech-Clarity, an independent research and consulting firm, has joined the judging panel for the upcoming Spike Awards. The Spike Awards recognize the best use of social media and social computing (Web 2.0) to improve innovation, product development, and product management. The entry deadline is September 3, 2010.
Jim is known for his experience and thought leadership around the use of technology to improve product innovation, product development and engineering processes for better business performance. “One of the most exciting possibilities with social product innovation is the opportunity for everyone involved with a product, from marketing through development, services and even customers to provide feedback in a social forum that can then close the loop back into product development and innovation,” Jim said in a podcast interview. “The more this is looked at from a lifecycle approach, the better off companies will be.”
Jim joins an expert panel of industry and Web 2.0 experts that will judge Spike Awards entries based on the identified business challenge, approach to problem, creativity of solution, and results that relate back to the business problem.
Entries must be submitted via the online form at http://spikeawards.com/nominate.php. Individuals are free to nominate their organization or another leading organization. There is no fee to enter. The Spike Awards are open to organizations of all sizes in the following four industry categories:
