BEACHWOOD, OH — Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Trey Allen to Partner. Trey leads Kalypso’s Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) service area.
Trey has worked for Kalypso for almost three years. In his new role, Trey will focus on further building Kalypso’s food service practice and contributing to the growth of Kalypso’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Process practice.
“Since joining the firm, Trey has been integral to the growth and success of many of our practice areas and industries, including our PLM practice, and consumer packaged goods and QSR industries,” said George Young, CEO and founder of Kalypso. “He is an asset to this firm and its clients, and we’re proud to now be able to call him a Partner of this firm.”
Trey brings more than 24 years of consulting, management, and entrepreneurial experience to Kalypso’s clients. He has extensive experience leading strategy, operations, and enterprise technology projects for A&D, manufacturing, and CPG clients.
Trey began his career in the United States Navy, where he flew F-14 Tomcats as a carrier aviator and served as a squadron operations officer and fighter tactics instructor. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BSME from the University of Texas at Austin.
“This is probably the biggest milestone I’ve achieved in my career since I earned my Navy wings more than 20 years ago,” said Allen. “I’m excited about this new opportunity, and I am focused on doing the best job I can to earn the trust this firm and its people have put in me.”
