Thomas Guedea - A Character With Character
...because interesting people are more fun to work with
Everyone at Kalypso knows me as Thomas and I’m really not a secretive person, but there are some things about me that you have yet to discover. For instance, I go by five different names: TAG, Thomas, Tom, Adrian and Guedea. Try successfully responding to all of those on a daily basis. I’ve learned to just respond to any and all names; that makes things easier. I am an only child, born and raised in Austin, Texas, and have no plans of moving. Upon joining Kalypso I was quickly shoved onto the first aircraft I had ever boarded. Since then I have booked thousands of miles, seen the inside of many airports and don’t plan on slowing down!
Your favorite virtue?
Loyalty.
What is your most treasured possession?
I once hit the jackpot at Blazer Lazer-Tag and won a ridiculous amount of tickets. With my winnings, I bought a small basketball goal which is now in my apartment. This quickly became the greatest feature of my apartment – my neighbors might disagree.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Although I own a cat, my personality resembles more of a dog's. I am an extremely loyal person - everyone in my life knows they can count on me and that I will be there for them through good times and bad. I could be friends with you for only a few days and treat you as though you have been in my life forever.
If you were a super hero, which super hero would you be and why?
Wolverine. He has a healing factor that helps him recover from any wound or disease and slows down his aging process. I am only 23 years old and have already started to feel the effects of aging - so I wouldn’t mind staying young as long as possible.
Where would you like to live? Why?
Right now I have no plans of moving from Austin, but if I were to hit the lotto and this “work” thing didn’t exist anymore, I wouldn’t mind spending the rest of my days near a beach somewhere.
