Michael Glessner - A Character With Character
...because interesting people are more fun to work with
This is not an easy assignment. OK…first we need to get clear on what’s funny - I think funny is a Harvard MBA that can rebuild a V8 engine and does his own mechanical work. The car in the photo is the restoration of a vehicle finished two months ago that I owned through high school and college. This was THE key item on my bucket list. I am married to the love of my life, Colleen. We have three amazing kids and a high strung dog, Buddy. Because of them, my life has never been dull or quiet, resulting in me becoming the classic ice hockey and dance dad (if you’ve seen the show Dance Moms you’ll understand). I am a native of Philadelphia, born and raised in the suburbs; I have lived in the Midwest, Texas, Canada and New England. I am an avid Flyers fan. During business hours I drink tea, not coffee. I prefer beer to mixed drinks with the exception of a good scotch. I am a closet fan of curling after attending the US National Tournament in Philly this year. I attend Mass weekly and love detective novels - Raymond Chandler is still the best.

Reliability - I fulfill commitments.
Which words are phrases do you most overuse?

My taste in music is quite varied depending on mood and circumstances (Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik or George Winston, to Rush, Boston or AC/DC).
What is your favorite journey?
My favorite journey is coming home...
When was a time you felt you could do anything?
The day I received my acceptance letter to Harvard.
