Andreas Lindenthal: Merger A Vision in the Making

Yesterday Chris Atkins gave us some thoughts on the Kalypso-Metafore merger and how to achieve the "consulting circle of life." Today new Kalypso partner and Metafore co-founder Andreas Lindenthal talks about how the merger brings Kalypso one step closer to its vision - building the world's premier innovation consulting firm.

What areas will you be focusing on in your new role as partner?

With my strong background of over 20 years of practical experience in PLM, I will primarily focus on expanding Kalypso's PLM Technology practice, extending our offerings across all PLM platforms and helping our clients find, define, and implement the best PLM solutions for their business needs.

What conversations have you had around the merger?

The reactions have all been very positive. The clients I have talked to immediately understood the value we can provide them as a combined organization. All of our business partners are very pleased that we will be able to support their technologies even better.

How will Kalypso's clients benefit?

We can now offer our clients the broadest and most comprehensive set of services in the areas of innovation, product development, and PLM on a global basis. We have deep practical expertise in all major industries. We can provide extensive support for all major PLM technology platforms, including Aras Innovator, Dassault Systemes Enovia, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, SAP PLM and Siemens Teamcenter.

What is your favorite Kalypso value?

Growing up, studying, and working for over 10 years in Switzerland I learned early the value and importance of professionalism, integrity and quality. Switzerland is a small country and costs are very high there, so the only way companies can differentiate themselves and compete effectively on a global basis is through professional excellence, superior performance, and outstanding quality. This is why I personally believe in Professionalism, Integrity & Quality and why it is my favorite Kalypso value.

What are you looking forward to the most as a Kalypsonian?
