BEACHWOOD, Ohio – Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, developed a mobile application for Oracle’s Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Process solution. The application, called P4P Mobile, will grant PLM for Process users instantaneous and continuous access to their product and supplier data when they can't be at their desk.

PLM for Process, built for process-oriented consumer packaged goods and food and beverage companies, is an integrated solution that manages all aspects of innovation—product and portfolio management, specification management, supplier management, formulation and bill of materials management, packaging and labeling management, compliance and quality management, and data syndication.
P4P Mobile will be released in two phases. The initial release in early fall 2013 will allow users to view specifications, action items, sourcing approvals, company and facility records, and attachments.
The second release in late fall 2013 will enable users to view New Product Development (NPD) projects, activities and associated attachments, and view Product Quality Management (PQM) product service requests and attachments. Users will also have the ability to advance or reverse workflow and signature approvals, and maintain specifications, sourcing approvals, company and facility records, and attachments.
For the initial release, P4P Mobile will only be available for Apple iPads, but will be made available for Android tablets and mobile phones shortly after the initial release. P4P Mobile will be available for PLM for Process version 6.1 and above, and for older releases on demand.
P4P Mobile follows the recently announced Oracle PLM Mobile for Agile, Oracle’s mobile application for the Agile PLM solution for discrete manufacturing industries, which is now available for download on the Apple iPad.
