BEACHWOOD, Ohio - Kalypso, the world's premier innovation consulting firm, announced today that Richard Mizuno has joined the firm as a partner to lead growth in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing and Energy practices.

Richard brings over 25 years of consulting and business experience to Kalypso’s clients, serving the oil and gas, oilfield services, chemicals, manufacturing, and engineering & construction industries. He has led a number of large-scale, enterprise technology implementations and strategic transformation initiatives for complex global clients.

Prior to joining Kalypso, Richard spent over 20 years in senior roles at Deloitte Consulting, EnterSys Group and HCL AXON. His industry experience includes roles at General Chemical Company and The Gillette Company.
Richard specializes in program management, program planning, process redesign, and deployment and change management with a focus on assisting clients capture the maximum value from their technology investments. His functional experience spans the innovation, supply chain, order fulfillment, service delivery, IT and asset management functions.
Richard is based in Houston, Texas and will work with client executive teams to transform their innovation and product development capabilities. He will also focus on growing Kalypso’s client base in the Texas and South Central region of the United States. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon.
