Partner John Gutierrez Joins Kalypso to Lead Business Intelligence and Innovation Analytics Practice

BEACHWOOD, OH – Kalypso, the world's premier innovation consulting firm, announced today that John Gutierrez has joined the firm as a partner to lead the growth of its Business Intelligence and Innovation Analytics practice.

John brings over 20 years of professional experience helping clients develop transformational business capabilities through innovation.

Prior to joining Kalypso, John was a partner with Grant Thornton and a founding partner of Avalion Consulting, which was acquired by Grant Thornton. John worked for over a decade at Deloitte Consulting in various leadership roles and was a founding member of the firm’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) practice. His former clients include AT&T, Lennox, Jacuzzi, Global Crossing, Dr. Pepper/7Up, Texas Instruments, 3Com and Gentiva.

John brings his extensive experience in leading complex business transformation initiatives to his work with clients to define, manage and increase the enterprise value of innovation processes including strategic planning, discovery, new product development, commercialization, data management and operations. 

John holds three US patents and is a frequent public speaker and author for professional financial and technology-oriented organizations.  He earned a BS in Accounting from the University of North Texas.

John lives outside of Dallas and is passionate about spending quality time with his wife and six children.  He enjoys staying active with his family in church, community and Boy Scout activities.
